I usually stay away from those. Mostly because in my opinion it kind of makes them look like an ass. Kind of like when folks say "L@@K RARE!!!!! MUST SEE!!" It's just a pet peeve of mine. hahamjmjr25 wrote:Ebay has started taking a cut of shipping costs too - to combat the problem of inflated shipping costs.
The main thing to be wary of on shipping costs, is if you wish to return an item - often, ebay will force a return, if the seller refuses - however, whether they reimbures shipping costs is situational, that's where you need to be careful when bidding on some things. I've seen some sellers do the deal where they put the item at $0.01 bid and $75.00 shipping...on an item that should sell for about $75. Then, if you are unhappy and the seller accepts your return of the item, boom - you get a $0.01 refund and some egg on the face - meanwhile the seller got $75 and keeps the item. That is when we as buyers need to pay attention.

I noticed the installer spent the longest time installing one file: world.map.dsheinem wrote:Africa is big.BoringSupreez wrote:: I just spent half an hour making space on my PC for Far Cry 2, which, according to the back of the box, requires 12 GB. -- or in mjmr's case, I've seen it too -- make the bid/buy price cheap then jack up the shipping to a point where you'd see the total being about the price you'd originally *expect* to pay on the item in the first place - saw that on a Dreamcast game just the other day
-- and of course, the L@@K/RARE/OUT OF PRINT just to drive up the item views/search results when in reality it's a common item still in print.
Yeah

What ticked me off today was discovering my mouse cursor in some gaming screenshots. I had to forego making any progress in reviews and instead recreate those offending screenshots.
So in a way, I both smiled and got ticked off at the same time.

What program are you using that stuck the cursor in there?Radical Lanzar wrote:What ticked me off today was discovering my mouse cursor in some gaming screenshots. I had to forego making any progress in reviews and instead recreate those offending screenshots.

That looks like a compact and fantastic program. Alas, I'm using Windows 8 Developer and it hiccups when I try to load it.Hobie-wan wrote:What program are you using that stuck the cursor in there?Radical Lanzar wrote:What ticked me off today was discovering my mouse cursor in some gaming screenshots. In the meantime I'll stick to using this crappy Gadwin Printscreen. I admit it's pretty bad. The only options it has are filename output, capture area and whether I copy my mouse cursor or not. Damn it all man, I think I'm switching back to Windows 7.
