Forlorn Drifter wrote::D So close to graduation. I picked up my graduation clothes today, and went to the career center to get a bit of help. I've honestly thought I didn't have that impressive of a resume, but the advisor said that based on my GPA and experience I should have no issue finding a job at all, and that I'm one of the best she's seen walk in all semester. Really helps lift my spirits.

She also suggested two opportunities in the local area, so I might not even have to leave yet!

Congratulations Forlorn! You got this! I believe in you.

:D Going back to work on Friday! I'm going back to Oceanas Bistro four nights a week. But when things pick up I'll get more shifts. Like before I'll be working nights.

 There's also gonna be a Duck Donuts location here in Avon and they're hiring. Maybe I'll be able to work there as a day job? I mean I technically DO have experience. When I was the dishwasher at Orange Blossom I also helped the kitchen crew and manned the fryer a few times.

I'm pretty sure at dunkin donuts if you just show up for your shift and stay off your phone, they'd be happy.

Smile: My old boss who I still keep in touch with sent me some candy from a chocolatier I used to frequent as a housewarming present. Totally unexpected.

After not getting the first job teaching English in Japan that I was aiming for, I've started applying for a couple others. Regardless on if I get either of them, one has me shipping out as soon as this July and the other has me going out next Spring, so my schedule of how long I'll be here is still pretty up in the air Xp. I'm still probably gonna keep slimming down my stuff-footprint either way. It feels nice to just have more space and less stuff tying me down :)
