I liked the sequel, for what it's worth. The 'new guy' was hilarious, and I liked that they managed to work Rocco in as well.

Just a shame that they set it up for yet another sequel. Maybe we'll see it before we hit 60.

i recently watched wedding crashers with my sister-in-law and she brought up a good point: how in the hell are does a church service, reception, boat ride, football game, dinner, post dinner activities, and everything in between all occur in ONE day? and i am probably forgetting things too. realistically, i think the church service probably would have had to start at 7am for them to be able to cram everything in. so that means when they were outside talking about their alter egos before going into the church it probably was 6:45 am. and people probably started arriving at the church at 6:30am. so, most attenders were probably waking up at 4:30am to get ready for the day.

has anybody else noticed this.
if you took a shit, please put it back

Finally got around to watching THX 1138. I really loved this movie. Incredibly well done for the time it was made and the budget Lucas had available. Very interesting story and an excellent cast. Especially Pleasance. I was really excited by the end and disappointed the movie was over. I wanted to see what happened! From a more realistic perspective, the ending was perfect.

Shotgun Stories. A feud that ends rather reasonably. The end.

The Bad Sleep Well - Akira Kurosawa directed this great revenge film, in which Toshiro Mifune plots against three corrupt business officials for the death of his father five years before. While the performances on all counts are great, it's the ending to this film that packs the most punch. It's too bad Kurosawa is most often associated with his samurai films: his modern era work was dynamite, and I'd rank this one highly.

The Killing Fields - Well deserving of the awards it earned, this film follows journalist Sydney Shanberg and his translator and fellow journalist Dith Pran both during and in the years following the take over of Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge. While Shanberg and other foreigners were eventually allowed to leave the nation, Pran was forced into an agricultural work camp, where children were brainwashed while the older generations were worked to death or executed for such crimes as being educated. Pran eventually escaped, making his way to a refugee camp in Thailand while Vietnamese forces invaded Cambodia in the late 1970s. It's a great film with some stellar performances that shows the horrendous cost on civilians from both war and extremist ideologies.

The Killing Fields is awesome, recommended viewing. Also, I think it's best to learn more about the real-life protagonist, Haing S. Ngor, who played as himself in the movie, after viewing the movie.

^I hate you all. I have been looking for a cinema that screens it in English to no avail and the Spanish dubbing is just bad. :x

Absolutely f**ing awesome!!!!!

Seriously, this was the kind of fun I was hoping to have with the video game, which was underwhelming. The movie kicked ass though!!!

I agree with Luke though, it might not age well. This is a movie that is best seen NOW or you're just missing out. Also, I don't think it's going to win over anyone that isn't into video games or comic books. I think this is a very niche movie. The jokes, the music, the visual style, it all just added up to something that felt aimed at a very specific audience, but I could be wrong
