Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Final Fantasy 7 needs to get a physical release. FF7 on a Nintendo console on a cartridge would just blow the mind of gamers from the 90s

Oh my...I'm not one that uses catch things like 'speechless' really at all, it's rare. But wow, I don't know what to say other than Nintendo has finally got some amazing partners and relationships they've managed after so many years to rebuild. The games you see here in that one direct put the system, the company, in a space they've lacked since the Gamecube if not the SNES era. So much games from all parties popping up that you may in many cases have to pick and chose what to buy or not because of limited time, funds, or both. I've not felt that for like 15 years, it's insane.
For me I'm eyeballing that Capcom bundle, New SMBU (the only one of those that didn't suck feeling like the old mario game physics), Katamari (what?!), Diablo 3, Daemon x Machina, Starlink, FFCC and FF7/9 type stuff, and the drop of FF15 today no less. And this is just me cherrypicking stuff and I've already got 4 games on preorder as it is with amazon before they cut us off (MM11, Dark Souls, Monsterboy, and Tales of Vesperia DE) plus still thinking about Pokemon too.
Ugh and yay?

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
I'm reluctant on these shop ones as so many end up with physical editions soon after.
Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Good call bogus.
Noise you're right, but with Square-Enix I wouldn't count on it, like ever. They have a thriving end of their business with mobile games, and usually overly high priced compared to about anyone else which they know with fanboys they can get away with. FF15 Pocket on mobile is $52 for all the chapters, and it will be a $30 game, but right now it's $18. The best it will ever hit on something will be 1/2 off as SquareEnix never goes over 50% in sales on FF and DQ stuff.
I snapped it up, I've been curious about it and while that's nearly the most I've ever paid for a digital game, the phone pricing pushed me over the edge as that's robbery.
By the way notice on their Nintendo Online site for the NES page? 20 games at launch, 3 more per month for 2018 and they even include import games too as Twinbee is there in November.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
I had a bad feeling we'd be getting New Super Mario Bros before 3D World... I like the former way way more. NSMBU is the only one of that series that I like but I don't know if I'd play it again. Seriously want that 3D World ported ASAP though!
