You know I was just thinking and it's a crazy thought but what if.....
So now Nintendo knows they have a hot item. So what if they knew this all along and put out more Nes mini's for the holiday season. I know they will but what about the people who already got them? Well what if Nintendo put some type of flash card or cart that's either downloadable or once it's downloaded it's trash and the games are now in the system for 20.00. So the rest of the Nes published games will be there along with contra and maybe mega man 3, also Tecmo super bowl, castlevania 3. I'm just thinking of extra sequels from the Nes mini.
This will be a way for Nintendo to hit the market with people who haven't bought the mini Nes and people who bought the. Es mini to hit us again

The NES Mini has already been disassembled and there are no data ports or even data headers within the unit. There is literally no way to transfer new data to the unit without a hardware mod.

Watched Motherfucker Mike's review of this.

It looks..... okay. Cords appear way too short. Game selection is decent enough, but I already own the best titles and the ones I don't own, well, there's a reason I don't own 'em.

Ignore the scalpers and hoarders. There will be more copies. Be patient.

I view this like I do any plug n play. When I see it at Sam's Club for $20-$40 I'll jump. Until then, no way.

I'll probably grab one of the controllers for WiiWare games but considering I recently bought an AVS, I'll pass.

With this being Nintendo we're talking about I see it a long ways off before it hits that price. Nintendo is super stubborn with prices on a lot of their name brand stuff, and chracters. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being the same for quite awhile....

Well it probably would hit $40 on the after market pretty much faster than Nintendo ever would. Look at all the people getting burned right now and the panic. There's always a panic and then the opposite swing away after. Probably could get a gently used one for $40 in the first quarter of next year once the WOW factor wears off.

I'm in the same train of thought, down to $20-40 I'll get it, but that's why I wanted to go the amazon route as I have a $50 credit making it $10. The savings, I'd get a 2nd controller and still come out on the bottom end of that spectrum which is very acceptable.

Might as well throw in the tease about the NES Game Unlocks on Gamecube Animal Crossing.

No hurry myself to get the NES Classic, since I already have the original Toaster NES as well as NES Emulation on the Dreamcast and PC. I would like to have bought two of the NES Classic gamepads for my Wii.

Now that I think about it, the two 3rd party EMiO controllers (Auto Fire Gamepad and Advantage Stick) might go clearance since they are not compatible with the mini console after all! Waiting for some to be returned as "defective" back to the stores, might buy one of each for my Wii.

Wow that's kind of surprising those wouldn't work. Anyone have a reason why they don't pick up at all as of yet?

So a second order went up this morning for EBGames (GS), site crashed at 12pm when it went up, a few minutes later I was able to view the page briefly before out of stock kicked in.
