Thanks for the responses, team! I already own Celebrity Death Match and Shaq Fu. (I can't believe I just typed that...) And, since I wouldn't touch Backyard Wrestling games with a ten-foot pole, I think I am set!

Could be worse, it could be backdoor wrestling.

I may own one of those...if so...I need to get the other one!

My favorite wrestling games were the mid-90s LJN WWF games. The gameplay wasn't terribly deep, but I enjoyed them nonetheless (those...and Saturday Night Slam Masters). Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is probably the "best" wrestling game I have played, but it is too complex for my tastes.

People wrote the RR games off as raunchy eye candy, but the truth is they are very solid wresting games with complexity and depth galore.

50 Cent Blood in the Sand is on my list also. Got great reviews from the RFGen crew on their playthrough.

I'm scaling back all game purchases for the next few months... I've finally decided to save up for a proper gaming PC. As a lifelong console gamer (not to mention... Mac user. I know, I know), this is a big step. Welcome me to the light, brothers!

I am now thinking that I should collect all videogames that feature rappers and are outside of the music/rhythm and sports genres. (There can't be that many, right?) I think that they are:

50 Cent Blood on the Sand
50 Cent Bulletproof
Def Jam Fight for New York
Def Jam Icon
Def Jam Vendetta
Rap Jam Vol. 1
Wu Tang Shaolin Style

Am I missing any? (I think I only need two games to complete this fun little collection.)
Snoop Dogg is playable in True Crime: Streets of LA.

Isn't there a Snoop Dogg commentary pack for one of the CoD games? Or something like that. And I think Timbaland 'produced' one of those music-making games for... PS2? PSP?

I think there are a lot of boxing and basketball games featuring rappers as playable characters. You don't know what you're getting yourself into.
