I was playing a little of this before but kept dying. Not that it was too hard, I was just sucking. What I played of it was pretty fun. I'll have to finish it.
Oh good. I've been trying to not make anything too difficult, but without someone sitting next to you and pointing things out it's actually kind of hard. I mean, I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not particularly very good at Mario games in general, so I think all of my levels are pretty easy. But judging by the completion rate of my levels, perhaps I'm slightly more skilled than I initially thought.

located at the pit with the fireballs. You can just jump down and cut a huge portion of the level out of the way. I didn't find the level to be insanely difficult to need to do so, but I just thought I should let you know!
I loved it though it was a lot of fun. I love how Samus turns into the morph ball when hitting max speed. Such a fun level!
You know, I initially had the two other pits open as well, because I didn't think people's first instinct would be to drop themselves down the first hole they saw. But! anyone who did would get a little surprise  But then I figured I wanted to play more than just 1/4th of the level so I blocked it off. But I still didn't think anyone would be suicidal enough to throw themselves down the flaming magma pit. So kudos, Bogus. You have impressed me with your foolhardy bravery

But you still missed the even shorter shortcut, so *nah nah nah* :P

What levels do you guys have that you made that you feel really proud of? I feel weird saying that I like to play my own levels, but I really do. I have fun with them. I guess that is kind of the point.
It's funny. I saw curved tracks in a random community level so I tried shaking a section to make one, but it didn't change. I guess I didn't shake it hard enough. I looked it up in the manual, and there's a video that shows how to use them.

It's not weird that you enjoy playing your own levels, that only makes sense. I enjoy playing my own levels. I'm modestly proud of all of my levels, but I don't think I'm REALLY proud of any of them. I think they can all be better.

I forgot to mention one small feedback tidbit. You should place the first Samus mystery mushroom right at the player start point, so the player turns into Samus right at the start of the level instead of having to hit the first ? block.

As far as I can tell, most people SUCK at Mario games. Before the game was released, I was watching a TON of footage every day on YouTube. Everyone sucked at playing. When I look at red x's on my own levels, it tells me that a LOT of people just suck at playing. Now I know my Spin Jump Insane level can be pretty hard, but the amount of deaths on the Spin Jump Easy level are telling. On Spin Jump Easy, you can perform a spin jump at the start, then hold right, run, and the spin button the rest of the level with a blindfold on. But yet, there's so many deaths!

You and Bogus pointed out some good stuff. I think I'll tweak a couple small things, delete the old level and re-upload.

And I made it through easy without too much trouble (and even v1 of Hard), so now I feel better about my skills

That's is? Boo.

Okay, I made a few of tweaks to my last level and re-uploaded:

Samus's Pipe Maze Fortress - 1B50-0000-0080-8EF0

Please let me know if there are any more suggestions. I really appreciate the feedback :)

I also played through a couple more levels, starring all the rest of Ziggy's levels that I can get through (with the exception of the Hard (v2) and Insane Spin Jump levels. I think I might have to give up on those  )

I've got another couple levels bouncing around in my head right now and I'm hoping to start one of them up soon. I'm slowly sneaking up on the 50 star mark.

I think I'll incorporate it into my Amiibo Costume Fiesta level, but I'm otherwise not a big fan of the skinny mushroom. I'm more interested in the reward you get for beating the fly swatter mini game, but damn that's hard to beat!

Awesome, I'll play it when I get home tonight.

This is what I hear when my wife plays Super Mario Maker.

My wife: "Amazing Wraparound? I could go for one of those."

Me: "No honey, that's a reach around."

Wife: "Oh.

I hear her scream in a bad irish accent. "Yer Takin' me lives Spencey!"

I watch her leave a comment in the middle of a person's level where she got stuck it reads.

"Got stuck on the trampoline trying to find a shortcake."

and then she made a second comment underneath that one that reads, "I mean shortcut. Om nom nom!"

Another instance where she had a blathers costume on and she lost it, she yelled, "Whoops! I lost my Turkey Suit!"

And finally...

My Wife: I thought Dildos were instinct

Me: No Dodos. And you mean Extinct.

Hey all,

Here's a cool subreddit if you're looking for some genuine, true-to-heart mario levels that tend to be consistent (added: in design) with classic mario stages.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TraditionalMarioMaker/

I see some really cool ones in there. Figured you'd like some variety for this amazing game.

Awesome, man. Thanks for posting!

That reminds me, I played through the 100 Mario Challenge a few times last night and found 2 or 3 pretty awesome levels. I starred them, and I was gonna go back and investigate if they lead to other awesome levels. I'll share my findings.
