So are Mega Man, Sonic, et. al. actually in stores or what? I've seen Bowser but no one else, and I don't see any "Grabbed Mega Man today" type posts here or on Reddit. I did see someone got Toon Link (which I didn't even know what out yet).

I just got a call from EB Games advising me that Mega Man Amiibo preorder is in. I'll be picking that sucker up tomorrow.

So I picked up my Mega Man last night. I knew this one would be harder to get but according to the EB employees, it is going to be next to impossible. The guys at the counter were telling me that less than half of their preorders were filled and went on about how lucky I was to get mine. I don't put 100% faith in their word but, damn, I'm glad I preordered this one early. I'm so done with searching for these things.

As for looking for these, I think I might be done after this round as well, although wtf else do I have to do on my lunch break anyways. By the way is Target stocking this next batch or what? I haven't heard anything from anyone about Target.

Like I said, I don't put all my faith into the word of those EB employees but they seemed pretty sure that they were not going to get any more beyond these initial preorders. Maybe I'm not understanding something myself but that sound like they may be hard to come by. In my experience as a retail buyer, we always fill preorders before placing stock. If preorders can't be filled, there is no stock. The game world may work differently though, I have no clue.

Who knows? Maybe those employees are just getting bitter and venting over all the Amiibo nonsense.

Anyone starting the search early? Seems like a shot in the dark, but on Reddit a GameStop employee said the shipments have gone out and stores might be getting them in as early as today. I think GameStop sticks to street dates pretty seriously though.....

I still don't really have a legitimate idea of where and when these are all being sold. As far as I can tell only Best Buy and GameStop seem to be stocking the majority of them. Everything is staggered with some heresay thrown in as well.

Here's a good article I found breaking it down though. Again, I don't know what's up with Target but I don't even know if it's worth checking there.....
