But that Russell Wilson. Class act he is. His heart is so into charity and is always a gentleman on camera. Pretty sure you have proof of it too

It's usually a contractual obligation to attend charity functions, but there are guys like Wilson who would still visit hospitals out of the kindness of their heart.

i'm sure they are obligated and get tax breaks or whatever. i've seen wilson in the news visiting hospitals quite regular and that's cool. the one that got me was a raiders lineman gave a dad his paycheck for the week so his daughter would have a nice christmas, 4 yr old with a rare heart condition.http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutd ... 01985.html

He said he was really bummed he missed his usual Tuesday visit to Children's because he was at media day and it seemed really genuine. Sad to see he wasn't in the finalists for Walter Peyton Man of Year award.

I'm sure it was genuine, and I'm bummed that he wasn't a finalist for the Peyton award as well.

The man gets so much undeserved disrespect online. It's expected, but I'm still surprised that so many people on Deadspin, ESPN, etc., call him an Uncle Tom and phrases in the like of "That nigga ain't black".

I guess "Mo money, mo problems" still applies to stand up men.
