Yeah, thru homebrew that emulates the gc modem. I'm using a usb ethernet adapter. Pretty neat.

Edit: I'm going to be playing on the Sylverant server since Schthack's servers seem to be offline. Sylverant seems to be setup nicely.

Hopefully the servers get online soon. I'd love to play with everyone once before we move on to February's game.

If not, that Wii USB adapter and homebrew sounds interesting and worthwhile.

Yeah I just got done playing online a little. It works great so far.

It does take some tinkering to get it all setup. You do need a legit copy of the game with a serial and access key, along with a account on Sylverant's site (which is easy to setup). On the first page of this thread, Milked I belief mentioned playing the GC version on the Wii with Devolution. That's what I'm using.

Also, you don't have to use ethernet to connect online. Wifi works too.

So for the rest of the month, I plan on being on the server here http://sylverant.net/ in the evenings. This is for the Gamecube version if you haven't been paying attention. I'll keep the RBTR naming scheme.

Thanks!

Final boss wasn't too bad, though his ice attack took me out a couple of times. Thankfully I had four scape dolls. 8)

Atlas is the admin's test ship that's run off of his home network so it doesn't work too well.
