He may not offer an apology, but he certainly should make a statement.
He seemed like he was pretty drunk to me.

I can't tell if he was drunk or just very unprepared. Either way he didn't seem like himself.

Here's the thing...

Even ESPN was covering for Rice earlier this week. His PR team said "there was a slight altercation of little circumstance" while other outlets reported "Rice uppercutted his fiance, leaving her unconscious".

As some say, "don't get it twisted". Ray Rice cold knocked out his fiance, and then dragged her near lifeless body around a hotel trying to escape charges. I wouldn't be surprised if his fiance doesn't press charges, and I wouldn't be shocked if she covers for him.

Despicable, disgusting, but an all too common occurrence. And players get upset that we call them thugs. Fuck 'em.

Like chris rock says, never hit a woman, but i'd shake the shit iuta one.

Hard to believe he knocked her ass out when they both get released together. Maybe she was drunk.

It's amazing when TMZ becomes a trusted source.

Eye witness reports said something close to "The couple was arguing loudly, screaming at each other. The woman spat on Rice's shoe (or shirt) and Rice immediately knocked her out and proceeded to drag her by her hair into an elevator".

The apocalypse is nigh:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10500 ... lurs-games

In related news, "faggy sissy crunchy butt" will replace the term of "place kicker".

Freedom of speech anyone?

That will hurt the black players more than the white.

What will the penalty be for a crackerblock?

No way will this come to fruition.

For those who don't care about sports but enjoy intelligent journalism, ESPN will be airing an episode of OUTSIDE THE LINES tomorrow morning addressing "The N Word" in sports. This show will be followed by THE SPORTS REPORTERS, which is also one of the best sports shows on cable.

As far as an N*word penalty...please. That's like the FCC penalizing rappers for saying nigger.

I don't have the balls the size of Gebratle, but my skin is about as thick as it gets. First lesson I learned about sports was "there will be trash talk". That's life. Getting into an opponent's head is part of the game. #23, #99, #3...all shit talkers.

Flip side of that coin is that assholes can be exposed (not so incognito), but really...Redskins and such.
