I found some goodies today too I didn't expect which made me happy. Flea market ended up being a bust which was a shame, but then hit a shop in town I made friends with the owner and was able to snag Tomba PS1 complete for $55 (gave me $20 off.) Can't argue that, same with a nice small stack of G1 Transformer manuals and some weird knockoff cassette guy called Walkman Robo. Love finding weird stuff like that as it makes me my week with the robot stuff.

The mass commercialization of Pride makes me sad. Madrid is also making a big bid to turn Pride int a big tourist holiday and that also makes me very uneasy. It was creepy to see televisons talk day and night about how much money Pride was going to bring into the city and seeing all politicians take pics while barely speaking about the subject matter at all :/

Also, heavily alcoholized events makes me sad :(

I'd rather not hear about it at all, kind of fed up with everyone with their causes and so on, especially when they end up commercialized. I miss in the past when people in general kept their opinions or feelings to themselves unless it was a specific meeting, friendly get together, or other noted event. Now it's all about whatever is in your face, you better deal with it, or you'll regret it type mentality of push push push.

And on an hours later EDIT to not double post. All that talking I do with mas and him going after a break from owning a lot of stock I decided to take a knife to my wall yet again and damn I feel better for it. Just tossed my DS collection (albeit a small one) to the sharks on ebay. If it wasn't something I'd think wouldn't be too much at one time still dealing with the Dreamcast left overs and the DS I'll probably be offing the Wii as well.

I'm just fed up having too much crap I don't use. More and more I want to empty my shelf until it pleases me to feel good enough to be motivated to use what I have because the amount isn't an overwhelming burden.

:D Some extra hours this weekend. Saturday I went in around 3 hours early (got called in) and didn't get out of there until after 11pm. Then Sunday, I got called in 3 hours early again, but thankfully got out pretty (somewhere between 9:30-10pm). And today (one of my days off), I got called in around 4pm.

 Locked my keys in the house today!! But thankfully, after I got to work I called my mom and she got me a spare key (which I'll keep in my wallet).

 Gonna give up on my original plans for my birthday. Originally I was gonna redeem my SmartApp rewards, currently valued at $85, in the form of Amazon Gift Cards. And then I was gonna pick up a decently-priced portable projector and host either a double feature OR a marathon of short films. But even I was able to redeem my rewards (I can't, because I need a cell phone), the quickest shipping option wouldn't guarantee getting the projector by my birthday (July 9th).

I'm almost done string up my...PC!

It is not very powerful, and since it is a family computer (i.e., mostly for my children), I probably won't be getting many games for it.

I can, however, use it post to Racketboy. I've been suffering ever since my work computer shut me out of the forums, and posting from my phone just isn't the same. (I've been getting a lot of work done, though...)

Getting work done? What did you do to deserve such a cruel fate?

I offended the goddess Hylia when I mentioned to someone that there weren't enough bombable walls in BOTW...

You should at least be able to run this. That's the important thing.

Oooh good call I used to play that off and on over the years, and it's nice to see the site is still online.

:D : Getting into hiking again since their is a park nearby with a few trails. A lot of the trails don't seem like they get a ton of traffic and there are a lot of animal trails to check out which is just the way I like it  . Going to start getting 2-3 hours in a day before work and once I finish exploring it I might plan some more extensive hikes in the Kanawha State Forest which is near my work but about 1/2 hour from the house.

Ordered a Garmin GPSMAP 64 so I can do some geocaching and so I can get off trail a bit if I feel like it should be in around Monday. Actually ended up bumping into one geocache today by pure chance

:) : Also have a small river by my moms place so I picked up a inflatable kayak and scouted out the nearby boat ramps. Found a good launch and off point, but it's going to probably be a 5-6+ hour float so I have to wait till my next day off to give it a go.
