What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Any chance he has any more? I missed out of the NES Classic (not for a lack of trying....) and would gladly paypal you the cost plus shipping for one.

Nah sorry, this was at a convention. He was out within the span of a few hours.

Shoes shopping is alright, but pants are the worst for me. Not to mention I tore my favorite pair recently at the knee. I hover around 30-32 but the numbers are never perfect. My favorite pair was a 30, but most I can't get into. 32 can be baggy and make me look like a clown. Maybe I'll custom order 31 if I can somewhere.

Guess I could lay off some sweets or something, but I don't think those high school abs are ever coming back haha.

I would hate having to deal with that, I love sneakers.

 - If you're a free user on Photobucket, beware! They recently updated their TOS to significantly reduce bandwith for 3rd party hosting of your pictures. Not only do they block out all the sharing links on your pics, they also want you to pay $400 a year for unlimited bandwidth! How about NO?!

I'm putting all my new photos (and stuff that I've shared in the past that I might link to again) over to my Imgur account. My signature banner here was affected by that, now it's on IMGUR so no more error messages. Sorry for the inconvenience it might have caused here!

They've been garbage for years now. Thanks for the heads up though, I spent like hours on my MyAnimeList profile and have been dreading having to migrate eventually, but yep... have to do it sooner than later.

Photobucket has blown chunks for years.

I switched to imgur awhile ago. It's fast and friendly though I don't like their system of renaming files into a bunch of gibberish.

Doesn't imgur erase pictures after a while though? That was the main reason I stuck with Photobucket even though it's shockingly bad.

:D didn't know if I should keep replying to myself on the hip hop thread with updates but something awesome happened today.

MF GRIMM is having me help him with a Reddit AMA. He gave me his phone # and is calling me tomorrow so I can help him plan everything and chat a bit.
Extremely excited; everyone should go check him out on spotify. My favorite song is his most popular: Scars and Memories, but if you don't like rap I still recommend reading about him on Wikipedia, he has a crazy life story.

Not been more than 2month and yet AGAIN my laptop is offline and I had to dig out my old beater to use. Same damn problem too, hard drive committed seppuku. 1030 last night I've never in my life seen it but Windows told me that SMART say that my HGST... HDD was broken and likely wouldn't boot again to grab what I could and kiss the rest goodbye.

Over a period of an hour DISK shot to 100%, ran like trying to run Windows 98 on a Gameboy, and just barely was able to pull my current thunderbird mail info and some temp directory goodies (texts, pics, not backed up yet files) and some desktop temp text files to my portable before it was just unusable.

Tried a reboot, went to a repair. Had a shower, came back, and a black screen with white text that the motherboard spits out when it can't find any bootable drive/media in place. BIOS saw it in that screen, but outside of there, doorstop.

Waiting on a RMA, 3x, same damn thing in a little over a year. Last one I was annoyed and had them supposedly test and find nothing wrong with the hardware so they threw the same dumpy HDD in there. They better make it right, warranty dies in December.

If I were confident it was a crap drive I'd go buy my own but this is beyond coincidence and suspicion. ...so much for my progress in Everspace, Rebel Galaxy, and Xanadu Next---grr.

Not in my experience. I hope not! I've used it for posting pictures of high scores in the competitions I play, and they're over a year old now.
