It's like everything else regarding humankind, it doesn't matter if you haven't tried it yourself, as long as you just agree with everyone else. And how the rumor first started? I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the bad business decision of making too many cartridges and killing off Atari.BoneSnapDeez wrote:It seems like an average Atari game. Fun fact: it's also the first video game I ever played.

I know 2 isn't great but 3 got a real bad rap, especially because of its story if I remember correctly. No argument on 4. Awesome.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Part III is loads better than part II.
I and II are awesome if you have maps, walkthroughs, and the patience of a monk.
IV blows the others away. It's almost as good as some of the better SNES JRPGs.
I believe there is significant merit in this. Never understood all the hate for ET. I played it loop after loop after loop just to see how many points I could get with each ending.Luke wrote:ET on the 2600 is a perfectly fine game.

It's a testament to Atari's insanity that you can still find sealed copies of a lot of their 2600 games that aren't terribly rare or expensive.ZeroAX wrote:It's like everything else regarding humankind, it doesn't matter if you haven't tried it yourself, as long as you just agree with everyone else. Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

The only "gaming media" site I read is Kotaku because I like their layout.
Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
I no longer read gaming media. I haven't in nearly a year. The vast majority of my modern gaming news comes from friends and this website now. I'm content to spend my time instead watching gameplay footage, prices, and auctions of games I'm interested in collecting for older consoles.TSTR wrote:The only "gaming media" site I read is Kotaku because I like their layout.
