Good stuff. You pick the vegetables, meat, noodles, and spices you want, then hand it over for them to stir fry on a big 6 or 7 foot griddle. Some places you can stand there and watch as they toss it around, though the one near me they just bring it to you when it is done.

Parsnip is a very tasty substitute for potatoes... ^^

The leaves of a wild parsnip can cause severe burns though...

Just google 'parsnip burns' and have a look at the pictures... :o

Now I want mongolian grill with parsnip... lol

I just wish they were a little less sweet. I did a parsnip mash the other day and it was a bit sweet for my savory dish. Maybe a cauliflower/parsnip combo?

Try a parsnip and turnip combo. For pot roasts and beef stews, I usually pass on the tater and use turnips and parsnips. They do add a little bit of that sweetness (not #34) you mention, but it's more than tolerable and adds a little zing.

Love cauliflower too, but prefer it either raw, or in a mash or soup. Cauliflower and white cheddar (of course with more ingredients) can make for a memorable soup.

And if you haven't tried it, rutabaga (cubed and nuked) with nutmeg is awesome, and cheap.

Obviously, your neck is not trying hard enough...

I like to used it in wok dishes...

Olive oil, chicken, carrots, broccoli, spring onions, parsnip, curry powder and cayenne pepper powder.

Add the parsnip as last, otherwise it'll get too soft too fast.

The curry and cayenne go well with the sweet parsnip... ^^

Never tried heating up turnip before. Like it a lot raw in big slices or mixed in a salad.

I'll give hot turnip a try... ^^

By the way, sweet potato and turnip fries are awesome too. Just fry them like regular fries...
