More than a new current gen game, but not much more. Altogether, with the three games pictured, you're looking at about $120 bucks.BlackDS wrote: Do I even want to know how much that cost?
The price for Ikaruga was elsewhere. The fun will be guessing how much Battle Lode Runner ran.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I got some great deals at Blockbuster's Video Game Liquidation!
Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis
Dynasty Tactics
Suikoden V
Tales of the Abyss
Odin Sphere
Altelier Iris 3
Wild Arms 4
Tales of Legendia
Ar tonelico
Shining Force EXA
Soul Nomad
Rez
All PS2, X-Box, and GCN games were $2 each. None have the case or instructions, but for only $2 you can't complain.
I only paid $25 for ALL of these great RPGS!

Nice SNES score today
Aside from the sealed Super Metroid that I did not buy (as these are friends and I won't try to get the game for cheap and turn and flip it), I scored a nice minty Super Gameboy, with manual and box (box has a "NOT FOR RESALE" seal on each end, one end is broken), and for telling them their sealed SM is like a lotto ticket, they threw in an awesome clear Interact SNES controller with select-fire buttons.
It's an SNProPad and I have the instruction manual for it. It's housing is large and fits my hands well, it looks over engineered and it's buttons are colored like the Super Famicom controllers. Buttons feel responsive. And since the controller is clear, I can see where on the PCB each wire goes, so if it has a bad wire I can get another and quickly repair the controller. This mean I can use this controller for a LONG time. Buttons still feel stiff-ish.
What I really like about the controller is every button, sans the D-Pad, has select fire buttons. They even call it "semi-auto" and "auto" (though "Full-Auto" would have been cooler but took up more space). My other hobby is firearms so it plays into that. I like this controller a lot.
I also picked up some ad's for SNES games, including two unique Star Fox posters. The art is the same but the ad's on back are different. I have registration cards as well for a few games.
The only thing (again, aside from Super Metroid) that I didn't pick up that I wanted was a drawer by an unknown maker that fits SNES carts and controllers and accessories in it perfectly. Little wider than the first SNES model and houses everything except the console it's self. I told them to sell the other carts they have (none were particularly collectible) and to hold onto that drawer as I had been looking for something like that for a while.
I made a post in the market place about the Metroid find. Like I said I'm honest and not a series collector so it's not my thing. If it had been a garage sale and I saw that and didn't know the person I would have snatched that thing up in a heart beat though.

Wrong thread AND you didn't get Super Metroid?
Double lose.
Double lose.
Re: Nice SNES score today
If it was Zelda, I'd be on it in a heart beat regardless of friendship. But meh, I could get Metroid cheap. It has no sentimental value to me. I'm not a serious collector. And if I wanted the game I'd get a cheap beat up one (preferably dead so I can fix it) and play that.BigTinz wrote:You're a spaz for not buying that seals metroid.

I see no problem with simply downloading the ROM and putting it on a PowerPak from RetroUSB.. You know now that I think about it I could have had 2 PP's for the price of that cart. Oh well. I can sleep soundly knowing I was honest and faithful to my friends.
And this would be the controller I picked up:

For future reference where should I post this stuff then?Kid Dracula wrote:Wrong thread AND you didn't get Super Metroid?

Edit:
Oh my Zelda 3 box came in from eBay. Nice! My girlfriend has a manual that may be in nicer condition than mine, and she likes the manuals art so I might trade her. I have only the map to get and i'll have a complete set, with minty cart and box.
Only game I'd do this for. The others can be emulated or played off a PowerPak.
