The best Xbox exclusive is also a Japan exclusive, Metal Wolf Chaos. Seriously go look it up. its the craziest game you ever seen.

Yeah but I think Metal Jesus excluded PC and geared the vid towards the console side of things no?

Also to the Silent Hill 2 talks earlier, the PS2 Greatest Hits version was the enhanced version I believe it brought over all the xbox extras including the better visuals!

This is the one game that makes worth modding the Xbox for install imports to an internal hard drive. There is a demo of Metal Wolf Chaos on the Xbox magazine disc that works on a non modded Xbox. Look for the demo disc that also contains a certain squirrel.

I have Nightcaster II, both games have bad reviews with the second version having better graphics. However, the series are TWINSTICK games! Mix the twinstick shooting movement control of Robotron and the explore levels of Diablo, okay not near as good as Diablo. I always wanted Gauntlet to be controlled move one direction while shooting in another, this game covers that. The spells take time to recharge, I imagine as you build "RPG" points your power increases.

The game is similiar angled overhead view to Gauntlet 3d, a lot of find an enemy and run away while "shooting" the spells. Just like Robotron except you can run further away thru a scrolling screen, get trapped by a wall or duck around corners of a building. Move with left stick, aim with right and shoot with the Right Trigger. Scroll Spells with left Trigger which adds an element of which "gun" kills a particular monster the fastest. A nice camera control; press the L3 on the left stick to instantly rotate the camera to ahead view. Ignore the various reviews and give Nightcaster II a try, it gets better after getting thru the initial narrative hints.

Thanks CRT for the write up on Nightcaster, I completely forgot about those games. I'll need to add them to my list.

I enjoy collecting for the original Xbox and filled in a lot of the gaps last year. It's also worth mentioning that it is extremely cheap right now (outside of very few games).

Well maybe it was not exactly the same thing I said. My comment to my friends was that I think the Xbox might be the most underrated console of all time. I have pile of awesome looking games for the system (at least a dozen from these videos) and yet I've only spent about 5 hours using an Xbox in my entire life. And it seems to be the same with everyone I know except the few people who only have Microsoft consoles who's opinion I usually dismiss for that reason.

I think the market kind of shows how much love the Xbox gets. Just about every game is cheap. I think my 80+ Xbox game collection, all which I think or know are good, only cost me $200 at most.
