Yeah i think the deflate-gate thing itself isn't a big deal, the pats would have won with nerf balls. It was the intent that is the big thing. If it was the colts it wouldn't even get any attention but because the pats are polarizing and you have a past history of so called cheating it's being blown up.

You are breaking Dave's heart.

It is in the realm of possibility that Mother Nature herself is a Pat's fan. Maybe, or maybe not, but weather sure as hell plays a factor in psi of your tires.

Do people complain about the length of "Donkey Kong" Suh's cleats? Not nearly enough. Should they? Yes, as he uses them as an in game weapon.

Again, this is dumb. This is sports entertainment. To call foul or cheating is as to call out counting cards during a poker match. You take every advantage possible. If you want a fair game, create one.

For fuck's sake, ray rice isn't in prison and we're discussing this?

I love how he's treating the media. Sports media is stupid, as are the NFL rules about speaking to it. More power to him, I say.

yes but it's in the collective bargaining agreement agreed upon by the nfl union. i mean, come on man, just say something for 5 minutes like every other player does and stop acting like a clown.

Yeah, I get that it is in the CBA. It is dumb there, too, and maybe his protest will work to change it next time it comes up for negotiation.

I still have major cognitive dissonance over the fact that professional athletes are unionized.

Yes, they do more than just play with balls, but:

"Yeah I get millions of dollars to run around, but I doesn't wants to fulfill my contacts, I mean contract ob-i-li-gations".

Fuck these guys. They are tools and need to understand they are tools. There is very little professionalism in professional sports and I don't think we'll see a change anytime soon, but one day the masses might say "fuck these guys" too.

And a few years ago I could tell you red zone stats for every NFL team off the top of my head. Same for batting averages in the MLB, and shooting percentages for players in the NBA.

And to the athletes who do take time to participate with the United Way, and athletes who visit kids in hospitals who idolize athletes, God bless them.

But the entire "It's in my contract, I'm obligated to do it, but I'm going to be an asshole while I do it" is dumb. lynch can go for a car ride with Suge Knight.
