Gonna mess around in a little SC5 and Vampire Savior Tuesday night at around 9pm EST, depending on how long I last I may toss in a little Injustice to test out my pair of sticks I got off that Gamestop sale.

This will still be just me just doing casual stuff, hit me up on my main PSN if you want to join in on some matches!

So just casual - that's cool.

How did you get (2) injustice sticks? They wouldn't let me order (2). I even tried separate orders of (1) on different days, but it said I exceeded the max after I bought the first :/

Also...why (2) PSN profiles? I was just learning the BuffaloFGC...

@ 2 sticks: I just had one ordered to my workplace on a different card under my wife's name.

Not sure what to think about the confusion on 2 profiles... The Buffalo_FGC one is a generic account (created for just this occasion), that I put on several of my PS3s, the game center we play at's PS3 and several of my local players PS3s, so we could seamlessly have access to all DLC for games I don't have/or have everything unlocked for on my main PS3. The other is my main PSN account which I play on when not doing group activities and such, I won't be using it for "official" fight nights, and am just posting it in case the stars align and one of you actually are online and want to play with me in the mean time
Is it really hard to understand? Or are you just pulling my leg here?

Set backs, set backs, set backs.

So yea, our stream room still isn't finished at the new place. So it'l be another week or so (I hope) before we are back in the swing of things.

I'll post up times I am playing this week (I'll even post some XBL times), to try and get even 1 of you elusive RB'ers to play some games with me in the meantime.

Many apologies for the many delays and what not, but it's not like there is a rush of people I am letting down weekly here so I don't feel extremely bad about it.

I'm going to get again workshop some new ways to go about this and post them up soon also.

Don't know what to say. I honestly have no idea what the importance of the stream is - the vast majority of us who enjoy fighting each other have zero interest in that part. If you want it as an aside - that's cool, but it shouldn't be a determining factor on having a fight night.

Here is what people want. Or, rather than speaking for others, here is what worked before.

*7pm-11pm
*SSFIVAE

That's it. People showed up. 4-8 people per night. People come in and go out - have a good time. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

These words specifically come out of your mouth over and over, yet this very scenario has been provided with or without stream and you specifically have still not shown, as have many others not shown after seeing the schedule. So I have not seen evidence of "just grip it and rip it" methodology working out here yet, and there is no harm trying to figure out better or figuring out ways to make it more appealing.

The stream is not important to me as much as the venue is, to gather my local players at and the amazing online connection we get there, on our end. That is why I prefer it, not demand that it be a factor. The stream quality and all that jazz is something I'd like to perfect for other projects anyways, so I just see it as an added bonus and mention it because I wouldn't mind random passer-bys checking it out and dropping feedback or adding to a convo on it.

Back to the point you were making-
The past 5 weeks, i have hosted 2 full-on Fight Nights with no stream available, and still had dudes at my crib, still had games people "say" they are willing to come on and play vs us and still had a large 5 hour window in which people could come on and play us. Nothing happened. Then blizzard stuff. Then me getting busy etc. I still posted up times and games in which I personally have been available to play and received 0% interest also.

So yea, the "hey man just show Tuesday at 8 and we'll throw down in SF4" crap hasn't really been working out, and sadly this thread barely gets any views to begin with.

Is there any more constructive criticism on the way I have gone about this (or could have)? I still an apparently unfamiliar with many of you on these board, but there is no reason that can't change. I've stated many times, I'll just play any of you and if you make time, I'll make time.
But as far as saying "just post a night, time and game, and ppl will show", I just ain't buying it because it hasn't come true even once. So I wonder if it's a fault of the way I promote it? or the way I try to include too much? Just bad luck? Who knows.
