I wish I had the time to devote to gaming that would allow me to beat a game that quickly. Nice job! :)

1. Lego Indiana Jones 2 (360) - 1000/1000
2. Star Wars The Force Unleashed II (360) - 1200/1200 - Ugh, that Champion Achievement... what a beast!

Trying to take 2011 off from buying any new games and work on my backlog instead, although that will take well more than a year as I've been collecting for over 20 years... plus I'm a completionist and I like RPGs. Just bought a house recently and got the whole finished 1000 Sq. Foot basement to myself, so I'm working on a suitable gaming lair. I can't wait to post pics in the game rooms thread!

I'd love to see that come together from start to finish!

Cool, I'll start taking pics now. There are multiple rooms, so it's not all games - one is my Star Wars stuff, one is going to be a movie room, but the game room will be a temple. The SW area is mostly done, and the movie room just needs to be wired and get some seating. The game room is in the earliest stages though, so I'll start taking pics of that now so I can show the project from start to finish. :D

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

You can't beat LBP2! With new content uploaded everyday, it'll go on for infinity! Paraphrasing Kevin Butler.

How many hours did you put in and what levels were your characters?
I just got back to the lake after the ice castle and all my characters are lv16... and am wondering how far along I am.

The last few weeks have been a shmup-fest, or rather I have been playing many shmups in-between games that take longer to play through. The first two of these I feel a little bit guilty about counting as neither was beaten in a "reasonable" amount of credits - I usually try to beat a shmup on $1 worth (4 credits) unless I think it is just way out of my league or ridiculously unfair. MF 1.5 and DOJ both are leagues out of my league. Gorgeous, exciting, and a blast to play? Yes. Challenging as hell and the present culmination of years of bullet hell refinement by the premiere developerin the genre? Yes. Something I'll ever 1cc or even 4cc in arcade mode? Not a chance.

On the other hand, Resurrection and Exelica I did beat given my own self-imposed guidelines. Both were just about the right level of challenge for my current shmup-skills where I had to work at them a little bit to reduce credit consuming. Both are state of the art on their respective platforms.

Also worth noting is that DDPR marks the first game here that also appeared on the 2010 list. I am sure there will be a few more repeats before all is said and done :D

Man, the new Castlevania game was awesome!! I loved the ending and the challenging combat and the voice acting. Can't wait for a sequel!
