the system is 3-4 people making manual updates to a thread in their free time, so there is no possible way it could be perfect. the nice thing about the system is that it has a failsafe that can allow every user to verify when and where a bid was made. for example: since we are able to look at your $20 bid on page 28, then see christoph's lower $12 bid on page 30, one can safely assume that the system is working perfectly ;)
