Saw some internet rumors about Switch retail releases being in the works for Celeste and Salt and Sanctuary. This makes the hoarder inside me very happy.

honestly, most eshop games (that do well) I tend to assume will get a physical release at some point. There's quite a few small publishers besides Limited Run who are shifting focus to the Switch, which is cool.
Very true, Nicalis was a pioneer of it mostly, as was fangamer with Retro City Rampage DX too. It proved that million seller download games that do well can easily do as well or better on physical media on Switch, many re-buying the game again to truly own a copy of it in their hand. Whatever Nintendo was smoking dumping ATI and going with Nvidia to design their newest system after so long really played out better than anyone expected. All that moaning how it wouldn't keep up, get nothing, blown off like the ratty WiiU, and it's doing nice. Sure it can't pump out the polygons with the best, but it can use those popular engines to run ports of popular now or yesteryear games along with lots of modern good nice things too. Everyone for once seems to be well on board which hasn't happened really since the front half of the Gamecube and before the old SNES which is nuts. That magic of the Nintendo handheld side of things seems to have been a good lure in it as well.
