Maybe you could, you know, put them all in one post so as to not spam the board?

I love KC, but more the older stuff than the newer. Prefer pre-Belew KC. Really love the one-time membership for the Lizard album, and the Jon Anderson guest vocals.

I've been listening to a lot of old blues and soul. I'm really enjoying the sounds of Doris Day and Dean Martin, can anybody recommend any other artists as I'm really wanting to explore this era of music.
Currently playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist

First off please don't take offense that I find it amusing that you cite two white artists when mentioning blues and soul.
This may or not be up your alley:
Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
...but it sure has soul.

Re: What are you listening to at the present?
one thing I was thinking about this morning... there's a lot of video game cover bands out there -- The Advantage, Protoment, et al. There's also a lot of orchestras that do video game scores. But what I'd really love to hear is a jazz ensemble that performs video game music. Yet, I've never come across anything like that. Does anyone know of any jazz ensembles that do video game tracks? I'd absolutely love to hear a good jazz take on Mega Man 3's intro.
