Is there a possibility they, and your cart slot, need cleaning?

Possibly. I shined a light inside the slot and I don’t see anything in there. Cart looks fine with no blemishes or other Debris on the contacts. I tried it on both a 3DS XL and a 2DS door stop. Both have the same issues. No other cart has an issue.
I own too many hoodies jackets hoodies and DS games and I’m not ashamed!
