R.I.P. - Man, so sad. My son is going to be devastated...Cohen was his favorite.

Man, Leonard Cohen had just released an album last October. The title track is awesome:

After a glorious three day weekend, today is the Mondayest Monday ever. I dove headfirst into Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse Thursday, and I got sucked into State of Decay hard on Saturday. Work sucksssss.

Update: The day got better. There was a fight during third lunch, and I heard it from my classroom (my class has second lunch), so I got to spring into action and run to help, throwing a kid to the ground in the process. Breaking up fights is great stress relief.

http://www.theverge.com/2016/11/14/1362 ... pillar?SomI don't know what to feel about this. I don't think he will ever actually retire for good at this point. From what I've seen he keeps going in and out of retirement. On one note I'm happy he's doing another film, but on the other hand it's starting to look like he'll be doing something constantly and never truly retire before he might pass away. He's definitely brought me a lot of joy over the years with his films but man...I wish he would just retire for good he deserves it...

C'mon Sparx, you don't really believe that Miyazaki is ever
really retiring, do you? At this point Miyazaki has already come out of retirement more times than Michael Jordan and Ric Flair combined. His last four or five movies were "the final" Miyazaki film. He always comes out of retirement to make "just one more" animated masterpiece. It may have started out as a genuine comeback from retirement at one point; now it just seems like a marketing tactic.

True but it's looking like he's going to end up working himself to death. Especially considering this latest one was supposed to be a short that's now turned feature length. I love his work to death but man I don't want him working himself to death. I want to eventually marathon his films once i get on a decent financial standing. I still really want his compilation pack eventually. I have been itching to see the rest that I know I haven't seen. He is definitely the Walt of Japan...

Nice to see he just had some gas left in the tank. I'm thankful for that amazon exclusive blu ray set of many of his goodies that Disney put into english. I wish it was a bit more complete as it lacks The Cat Returns and a few others.

School has really gotten me down as of late. None of my classes are even that hard, but I'm pretty tired of school. I don't mind learning the material or anything, but listening to a guy talk for nearly 3 hours straight, several days a week really wears me out. This always happens at the end of the semester too, so that just makes it even more annoying for me. There isn't really much I can do though, so I unfortunately just have to suck it up and power through.
