Post a picture of yourself...no not a damn mug
Re: Post a picture of yourself...no not a damn mug
Point Pleasant is only an hour up the road from me I really need to go check it out some time. Been up there once or twice with my parents and brother but we never really did much aside from going to a few junk stores / yard sales.

I was only in Point Pleasant for a couple hours, but it's a fun place to wander around! Aside from the Mothman Museum, I visited a pretty awesome antique store. There's also a seriously impressive mural painted on a wall by the river that's well worth checking out. BUT THAT MOTHMAN SCULPTURE; I felt serious excitement being with that thing.

That mural is INTENSE. There's a humongous battle between Chief Constalk's confederation of Shawnee and Mingo Indians vs the Virginia Militia under command of Colonel Andrew Lewis and John Murray the Right Honourable Earl of Dunmore. History calls this the Battle of Point Pleasant and Lord Dunmore's War. The mural features hundreds of Indians and redcoats murdering and scalping one another. This mural has taken many years to complete.
Absolutely flipping crazy.

It would have been 1000x cooler if you were going to a Mark Morrison concert...

Can you have a concert when everyone only knows one song from you? At least it's a good song

P.S. The Mack signed my sign afterwards.

This is (from left to right) my mom, my grandmother, my cousin Brian, me, and my stupid batshit aunt. Brian and his wife were in Raleigh for a business conference (they live in Baton Rouge), so we all met up for dinner Friday night about a month ago.
Aaaaand here's me being a goofball at a professional (a word I use loosely) development meeting a few weeks ago.
