My gf just let me know that the most epic package I've ever bought is awaiting me at home. Fuckin STOKED (brought that word back from the dead just to express my excitement)

I don't understand how Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops are worth anything, if they sold such insane amounts. Modern Warfare 2 still can't be had for $10 or less, even though it's two years ago's model.
Also, Ebay needs to stop making sucky changes to the layout. Just go back to the way it was back in 2005 already!

You know what would be awesome? An Augmented Reality Katamari game.

Shouldn't you be calling your girlfriend to let her know that there is an epic package waiting for her at home?dunpeal2064 wrote:My gf just let me know that the most epic package I've ever bought is awaiting me at home. Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

If you have the means to do so, the way to get the absolute most out of your games is to sell them to people that are going to be playing them, rather than reselling them, on Amazon or Half.Xeogred wrote:Thinking of maybe dumping off a bunch of my 360 games to try and get Skyrim and tie me over while I'm poor, lol. I have not traded in games in years and am still very against it, but eh... I really don't hold half my 360 collection in high regard at all, tons of games I'm never touching again and wouldn't care to see off my shelves. Is there a way to check on Gamestop or other sites how much credit I could get for stuff?
Also, Skyrim bro? Fo real?

Note to self, CAUTION TAPE doesn't do much when you are looking down. This applies to hockey as well if you keep your eyes on the puck. That in mind, I've taken plenty of checks, but until today I never got checked by an I beam. That fucker hurt, it's my own fault, but at least people got a laugh out of the "dooooooooong!" sound it made, and to see blood squirt out of the crown of my head (the natural crown of course, although the thought of someone wearing a crown around work is pretty funny).
Don't think I will need stitches, but yikes, my head certainly won't stop bleeding.

Next time you have a tough audience, you know what to do to make them laugh...Luke wrote:Note to self, CAUTION TAPE doesn't do much when you are looking down. Re: Random Thoughts Thread
That reminds me, I might have posted this already, but I think I forgot to. A few weeks ago at work, I was pulling the plastic/shrink wrap off a pallet. When the lazy guys at the warehouse use up a roll of shrink wrap they'll throw the empty end roll on top of the skids. Now it's sorta like the end of a paper towel roll, only it's much thicker and much more dense. Anyways, they left it attached and threw it on top of a skid. So I was pulling the plastic off and something hit me in the face really hard. I didn't even know what, I didn't see it coming (that's how hard it got whipped). The thing hit me right in the nose/eye area, and didn't feel unlike a punch from Arnold or maybe Superman. I stood there waiting for my nose to start bleeding, but it didn't. That's not surprising though, I've broken my nose before with out it bleeding or even bruising. Weird. But my fucking face and head hurt for the better part of the day. Nothing like getting punched in the face to wake you up in the morning.

*another work hurt story*
Years ago I worked at Kmart. One spring it was "rearrange all the things so nobody can find anything even though it is 90% the same stuff as last year" time in the sporting goods/automotive section where I worked. The fixtures were old and abused so the shelves stuck sometimes. I was trying to free an ornery shelf and had my head buried between them when a customer walked up and surprised me. Whacked the thin edge of a bracket so hard I saw stars. Stood up kinda woozy and put my hand on the top of my head. When I pulled it away I saw that I was bleeding pretty good. Stupid old shelves and stealth customer.
