Ironman. It was good but not the be all end all that so many said it was but was really fun. I did like how he took calls while flying though.

GI Joe Rise of Cobra - The best part was that Brendan Fraser was in it and thats not saying much...
Black Dynamite - not my kind of film but enjoyable for what it was.

Date Night: I enjoyed it. Then again, I really like Tina Fey and Steve Carrell. I know that there are people who don't really like Tina Fey. These people are known as the Nazgul. For them, this probably won't change their minds. I'll admit that I was slightly disappointed in the film, but I really went in with sky-high expectation. The plot is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from watching the previews. You get to see William Fichtner yell, "Sex Robots!"
I kind of don't like it when movies (except for Jackie Chan films) include outtakes during the credits. However, a lot of the alternate takes shown during the credits were funnier (imo) than the ones chosen for the film. Also, there's another great set of outtakes after the credits.
The film really kind of had a family film vibe to it, though the comedy went a little more off-color than the typical family film.

When in Rome: It's a romantic comedy, so set your expectations accordingly. This one's a little sillier than usual, though. It helps that they had some pretty funny guys in minor roles, and it also helps that Kristin Bell is actually charming.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: I haven't read any of the books, and I've heard that the books are better. The books must be excellent, because I thought the movie was great. The star of the show is really the kid who played Rowley, the best friend of the main character. That kid is hilarious! It's a children's movie, so expect a little bit of a heavy-handed lesson. Not Avatar-level heavy-handed, mind you. I laughed more during this movie than I seem to in a lot of more "grown-up" comedies.

The Wild Bunch - Man, what a great movie. A gang of aging gunfighters and highwaymen are trying to end their careers successfully while finding that history's leaving their era behind. They accept a job to steal guns from the US Army and give them to a renegade Mexican general, who's receiving some support from Germany in the 1910s The film ends up resulting in a bloody mess that's shockingly violent, especially considering the film came out in 1969.
The Other Guys - A hilarious parody of the buddy cop genre that at moments hits some extremely bizarre places. I love buddy cop films, and this one impressed me in how it handled itself. I kept thinking back to Lethal Weapon the whole time I was watching. Except this time the big villain's not some foreign drug lord or gang leader, it's financial criminals attempting to make up for enormous losses they don't want to report to their stockholders.
Machete - It is what it is, a violent, low-budget throwback to more of the gore-fueled grindhouse days we saw earlier with Planet Terror. It's also absurdly pro-illegal immigration to the point of ridiculousness. I laughed and grinned through most of the film, though it does seem to go just a little too far in relishing in its low-budget nature during the massive battle at the end. If you saw the trailer on Grindhouse, watch to see clips spliced into the film.
