both silent hill 2 and 4 look a hell of alot better on the Xbox, like most games on both systems the Xbox always has 480p where the Ps2 is usually 480i and the textures are a lot smoother on the xbox. As a rule if the game is a multiplat I get the Xbox version as it is usually significantly better looking.
Generally the Xbox will have the cleanest graphics over the Gamecube and PS2. However, it is a tradeoff since some games on the Xbox are 480i. The PS2 actually has quite a few games that support 480p, two of which can go all the way up to 1080i. Lately I have been going towards the Xbox ports due to usually better graphics. Both the PS2 and Xbox have the Hard Drive full install mod capability.

Once in a while a good idea to really research a game. The PS2 Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is the best version; even over the PC due to unique features. The older game is even better then the newer PS3 version due to the better features.

SNKP showed support to Xbox console in its early stages when its USA branch was revived. Metal Slug 3, SVC Chaos, Samurai Shodown 5, KoF Neowave, and Maximum Impact Maniax were all North American exclusives.

While on the topic of 2D gaming goodness, Majesco released Guilty Gear X2 #Reload which was an updated version to the PS2 release of Guilty Gear X2 the year before.Once again, as a North American exclusive.

I had no idea there were ANY games on PS2 that went up to 1080i. That's pretty impressive for that low of hardware specs. For the curious, it appears those games are:

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
Tourist Trophy
Jackass: The Game
Gran Turismo 4

not alot of games on the PS2 support 480p but most do on the Xbox, there are even a few that support 720p! and they look incredible on an hdtv.

The footage in my video of Amped 2 is 720P...and is shockingly crisp in person.

Try Soul Calibur 2 in 720P. It's astounding.

There are also a few Xbox games in 1080i (such as Atari Anthology...Circus Atari never looked better.).

Shame more games on the PS2 didn't support 480p, I'm guessing that was due to hardware limitations? I tried playing GTA San Andreas on the PS2 and it is an absolute blurry mess compared to the Xbox version. The Xbox version looks nearly as good as the PC version, the Xbox really was a beast for it's time. I'm not sure how I thought the PS2 GTA SA looked good as a kid, maybe it was because I only had a 13 inch TV and used composite haha.

Just picked up Voodoo Vince because of this video. I had completely forgotten about this game. I remember when i was younger I went to gamecrazy haha remember that place anyway i really wanted it but my mom refused to get it (she was in a faze where anything "occult" related was evil for like a month)

Just picked it up off ebay for like 5 bucks hoping its as sweet as you said it was :)

Went and had to pick up Brute Force again went with the Platinum Hits hopefully there are some good patches in this version. Interesting reading the back cover they mention the prequel Brute Force Betrayal but I'm not sure if it's in this disc or released under a different media.

Is Armed and Dangerous Xbox exclusive that's one to add if so loved that game tooooo!
