I love how X is portrayed as a shoot first, ask questions later maniac.

None of this angsty pacifist stuff.

Don't forget this is the same cartoon that thought Protoman was a bad guy based on the intro of Mega Man V even though they also had Darkman in the series, which meant they know he wasn't ever a bad guy.

And honestly in the SNES era X had some misgivings about having to fight but it was pretty much only touched on in the endings and it felt more of a "are we doomed to always repeat the cycle?" thing. It wasn't until the PlayStation era that he started to really get angsty about it. And given the technology disparity between the future and the present him being super gung ho on stopping Vile actually makes sense; Vile could easily rule the past if X wasn't there to stop him.

Game comes out in a week :D
I am super excited, even with all the PR disaster I heard about through the kick starter process. It's a shame Capcom and Inafune didn't work out their differences. I really liked the Megaman X series (I only played X,X2,X3, and X4) also loved Megama Legends was a fresh take on the series to help to franchise expand a bit kinda along the same lines Mario 64 did to it's platformer.

I wish they hadn't shelved the idea of a 3DS/physical release. That took the game along with the delays entirely off my radar. I can't sit on a PS4 and do a game like that, I just can't. PC would be pushing it and I'm in front of that at least daily.

On the bright side they were talked into making a DRM free version available for PC. Not that I currently advocate anyone supporting this game more than it already has been.

I'll admit that these delays suck, but what's the problem with it getting delayed if it comes out and it's a good game?

I didn't back the kickstarter, cause I just don't back kickstarter but I intend to buy the game when it comes out. If it's good then I don't care how long it took to get here, but if it's bad then...well I still don't care how long it took to get here.

Unless it was never going to be good in the first place.

I think any game can be good if it's given enough development time and if that time is used well.

i.e. Ghostbusters 2016

But you should just remain positive that the game will be good. And the people the backed should remember that investments don't always pay off. That's the nature of the game
