My thoughts exactly. I can't believe Nintendo was so strapped for games it took time out of its E3 presentation to show off so much of Batman....But of course Nintendo failed to grasp several important things. For one, as Geoff Keighley tried to explain to Reggie Fils-Aime in almost heated exchanges on Spike TV right after the conference, everyone who knew they wanted a Batman game already bought Arkham City last year and they will not be convinced to give WB and Nintendo $60 for another copy no matter how elaborate the embellishments.

hehe dude. You know very well that Racketeers are hardly a good representation of the gaming market. If everyone was like us we'd be seeing the Dreamcast 3 right now going up against the Nintendo GameSense.MrPopo wrote:Except you forget all the Batman fans who didn't want to spend $250+ on a new console because they don't own a PS3 or 360.
And the fact that it doesn't take much to get people to buy a "definitive" version. Hell, I purchased the PS3 version of Star Ocean after beating the 360 version because it has the Japanese voice overs as an option.

Come on dude. You know it's not the same thing. HD re-releases come out years later and pack in a lot of games. And again I repeat, this is a new console. How many people would have bought a PS3 in 2006 to play Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 on it?KDub wrote:While we are not the majority we are not the "odd man out" either. If we were these HD re-releases, special edition packages and the like would of been dead in the water a long way back.

Or they pack in a couple games. Or one game.ZeroAX wrote:Come on dude. You know it's not the same thing. HD re-releases come out years later and pack in a lot of games.
