Try Goo-Gone. I successfully removed a Hollywood Video sticker off an old copy of Cyber Sled (PS1) about a year ago. And that sticker had probably been on there a very long time.

Just cake it on over the sticker. Wait about a minute. Then slowly peel.

If you successfully get the sticker off. Then wipe the disc off with a dry or damp towel to remove the rest of the sticker residue and Goo Gone off, so it doesn't eat at the label.
I'm kinda leery of this. If the entire label side of the disc is covered with a clear plastic label, how does the goo gone soak in? Seems like just seeping in around edges might risk damage to the reflective read data when pulling that sticky saran wrap.
Well, it's pretty much a hacked, incomplete copy to begin with. If it doesn't work and it gets wrecked, then just toss it and buy a complete copy in better shape. But maybe play the game before you attempt to clean it, just to see if you actually like it well enough to re-buy it (if you haven't played it before).

Currently Playing: Crysis (360), Destiny demo (PS3), Roadblasters (MAME)

Be very careful using a hair dryer on a disc. Low heat only. I ruined a few otherwise filty (and destined for the trash) DVDs with hot water while attempting to wash and save them. Having the hot water hit one side made the disc warm enough to delaminate the layers. They mostly looked ok, but you could see a slight color variation and they weren't recognized in drives anymore.

Okay, so I went too this fle market looking for a super Nintendo because my old one was busted, and I found a Super Nintendo Jr/mini complete in box great shape. I asked the guy how much thinking it was gonna be 100$ or something, and he said 60$, I only had 50$ so I haggled it down too 50$ he also threw in a free game of my pick (sim city FTW!), it's selling for 100$+ on ebay, it was such a steal! Pics coming soon!

I got some lucky buys on eBay today

ICO - boxed, complete - £11 (about $17USD)
Turbografx - Boxed, missing adapter. With 2 games - Blazing lazers (complete in jewel case) and TV star Basketball (complete in box) - £27 (~$38USD)

Both of these i got without really trying. I saw them both going for quite low prices with 5 hours remaining before I left for the day, and stuck a relatively low bid on on the off-chance. Neither of them got another bid in that time period, and I was surprised to find i'd won them when i got home!

BTW, the seller stated that the turbografx should work with the Mega Drive model 1 power adapter. Can anyone confirm this? (PS, the turbografx is PAL region, in case that makes a difference)

This is true for US systems, it should probably be true for PAL systems too.
