Re: Games Acquired 2017
Ah what the heck, I'll post what I get more frequently too. I am trying to cut down on buying things willy nilly, but that doesn't mean I'm not buying anything ha.
Anyway, what I've gotten so far this month is only new stuff. I don't usually get a lot of newer games in a month, but there's just a lot with March release dates that I want to play. I've only gotten around to playing Zelda so far though haha.
March
Switch
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The
Super Bomberman R
3DS
Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns
PS4
Nier: Automata

Nice pickup. I'm not normally into Harvest Moon-esque games, but that one looks like it offers a lot of value for the money. I'm planning to buy it when it drops in price a little (if it drops in price a little).laurenhiya21 wrote: 3DS

I'm 103 games away from breaking 4,000 games on my RFgeneration collection so I've gotten back into the buy everything if it's cheap mindset again
. Might go through and enter some of the 50+ digital games that I have bothered adding since my last digital update maybe when I break 4K I can slow back down
.... or start racing toward 5k
. The good thing is I own almost every common sub $20 game that I have an interest in if only Amazon didn't have so many sub $10 games and $1 no rush credits
.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
Lately my interest in the Harvest Moon series has been waning a bit as of late, but I wanted to pick this one up to see how it's doing. I'm hoping that it's improved since A New Beginning, since that one was painfully slow and didn't have a whole lot to do.Exhuminator wrote:Nice pickup. I believe you will find this new Story of Seasons to be a dramatic improvement over A New Beginning.laurenhiya21 wrote:I'm hoping that it's improved since A New Beginning, since that one was painfully slow and didn't have a whole lot to do.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
Not games I acquired, per-se, but my buddy's resale store got in some weeeird Japanese Saturn games, and he let me borrow them for the weekend to muck around with and laugh at.
Ultraman: Hikari No Kyojin Densetsu (Ultraman: Light Giant Legend)
-- The box claims it's an action game, but the pictures look like a fighting game to me. Either way, it has a cardboard cover bit which houses the jewel case and a RAM cart, so I guess it either uses saves and/or is beefy enough to need the RAM.
Deep Fear
-- Some sort of horror game under the sea. Looks very Enemy Zero from the box, but I couldn't say for sure quite yet. It certainly isn't made by WARP in any case. I think it may be made by SEGA? Or published by them and made by these, "True Motion" people. Either way, I think it might be in English, kinda like Pepsi Man on PSX, where it has English voice acting and Japanese subs, considering all the English on the case and the fact that the game takes place on a (US?) Navy base.
And last but not least,
Seifuku Densetsu: Pretty Fighter
-- Some 18+ fighting game made by Imagineer (whom I've never heard of). The back of the box touts lots of girls in different outfits (it really promotes the outfits) fighting each other. I think there's even a 20 minute anime episode on here, judging from the text on the back O.o
