Maybe, I don't know.dsheinem wrote:people's reactions in this thread are about 100X more entertaining than that press conference.
Just chill, wait to see the launch lineup and what the final word is on used/online/drm questions and then critique the final product. All this speculation and posturing is just silly and fruitless.
The DRM stuff just bothers me from a standpoint of whether or not I could pick up physical Xbox One games two decades from now. Considering the online stuff, would the console even still work by then?
Those sorts of questions I want to see answered, but I'm doubtful that anyone in the gaming press will bother asking them.
But like I said I wasn't really very interested to begin with. None of the news we've heard so far makes me more interested, that's for sure.

Really, and you aren't being ridiculous and trollish right now? Please don't deduct my iq points. I am pretty sure I will buy this and a PS4 sometime in the next year or so.Retrodude wrote:Now it's doubly official. Starting now, If I actually meet someone who's genuinely enthusiastic about this thing (as opposed to sarcastically supporting it for trolling purposes), I'm going to automatically deduct 100 IQ points. Not to be a douche or anything, but seriously, you'd have to be a complete moron to waste money on this.CFFJR wrote:Have you guys heard about this already?

Who knows? I am sure it will be easy to hack or mod it 10 years from now and access the games just like nearly every other console...AppleQueso wrote:Maybe, I don't know.dsheinem wrote:people's reactions in this thread are about 100X more entertaining than that press conference.

Perhaps, but the idea of having to hack a console for it to even work isn't too thrilling, to say the least.Jmustang1968 wrote: Who knows? I am sure it will be easy to hack or mod it 10 years from now and access the games just like nearly every other console...
On the flipside, that'll probably guarantee that the games will stay cheap.

This. Its my one and only concern. Obviously nothing is 100% confirmed yet, but it seems to be leaning that way. I do think its perfectly valid to have this issue on my mind.AppleQueso wrote:The DRM stuff just bothers me from a standpoint of whether or not I could pick up physical Xbox One games two decades from now. I'm not running around saying the sky is falling here, and I really hope no one thinks so because that's ridiculous.

They are making a 3rd Gen Xbox 360, and redesigning it, i cant wait to see it, ill be picking one up because i have not owned a 360 yet.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Well, I'm hoping the 360 slim gets a price cut now.
Re: New Xbox releases in Nov. Will be called "Xbox"
Is a 360 even worth buying for the 5 shmup and 5 RPG exclusives (and the handful of games where it is slightly better than a PS3)?
Re: New Xbox releases in Nov. Will be called "Xbox"
Maybe, but i actually want a 360 to play all the Gears of War games and Halo 3/4/Reach actually, i know im crazy, but im playing the single player campaigns only.o.pwuaioc wrote:Is a 360 even worth buying for the 5 shmup and 5 RPG exclusives (and the handful of games where it is slightly better than a PS3)?
