Like Noise said MBV3D is better uncut and looks GREAT on BD. Check out the original as well, LOVE that dryer scene! One of my many favorite moments in horror cinema! 8)
I THINK I liked the Prom Night remake. I don't remember now.

The original MBV is good, but I may prefer the remake oddly.
I love the original MBV, the remake is good (Specially on 3D, whether it's anaglyphic or on a 3DTV) but it can't beat the original's gritty 80's vibe.

The Prom Night remake is a piece of shit, a decent R rated slasher got transformed into an ultra tame PG-13 horror film (The Legend Of Hell House, Poltergeist, Jaws, Two Flies On Grey Velvet, Tourist Trap, etc. are PG and they are much more graphic than the Prom Night remake).

I don't remember the Prom Night remake honestly. Now that you say -- I think it's the one I hated. I know I thought the remakes of Happy Birthday To Me and April Fool's Day were at least OK.

I hope you actually hate it  , it's just so sad to see something as simple as an slasher film being "dumbed down" (I fucking hate that term, it makes me think of a brain dead Goofy) for the tween audience.

Huh? Wow, I had no clue that they remade Happy Birthday to Me?! Not that I should be completely surprised honestly but I guess it wasn't worth it then? I didn't see April Fools because I heard bad things about it.

As far as MBV, I actually like them both the same, no preference for one over the other. It depends on my mood for which one I'll watch. I thought the 3D was done VERY well for the remake, looked awesome in theater and not bad on dvd.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Arachnophobia

Pretty funny, I really liked it. I wasn't scared since I love spiders but it's still a good movie.

I watched Halloween 2 last night. I'd never seen it, just the first one. It was actually pretty good. Really tense. Today I watched Scream 1 and Scream 2. Tonight will be The Frighteners.
