heavier beers go best with Turn Based Strategy. I'd suggest pairing Guinness or Sam's Boston Lager with something like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance or Rebelstar Tactical Command.

Personally I find that a refreshing chardonnay spices up an evening of 2D grayscale side scrolling.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

...just noticed a lot of grammatical errors in this one. If anyone's wondering, I wrote almost the whole month's worth of horror blog posts in a single weekend last month with a lot of beer. So yeah.. they might get more sloppy as the month goes on. I don't really remember. The funny thing is, when I submit them it says "submit for review", which I always assumed meant someone was reading them to make sure I didn't sound illiterate. Oh well.

yes, BUT when yr an actual blog writer on the staff, editing isn't as easy. Instead of editing and it's fixed, you have to edit and resubmit for approval of edits. I actually have posts I edited and re-submitted months ago that haven't been fixed yet.

Great post, noise. I never knew there was a Resident Evil GBC port planned at some point.

yup. I've even got a GBC magazine with a Capcom ad that shows the GBC RE cover art that says "coming soon". It's too bad. It looked really really cool.

I remember seeing an ad for it in EGM and Tips & Tricks back in the day. This was before I realized that I don't like Resident Evil games so I was kinda excited.

I remember being very confused at how the graphics could possibly look like that on the gameboy color. Too bad a beta or prototype of this game has never surfaced.
