Are There Any Sports Fans Here?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I love Sean Payton as head coach, but I think that the team needs to pay megabucks to a stud Defensive Coordinator (like Rex Ryan or Jim Johnson). As much as Gary Gibbs loves that 4-3 Man defense, it's simply obsolete in the modern NFL.

All the rules are offensive-friendly (touchdowns = ratings), and they make it difficult to successfully pull off Man coverage on a regular basis - not to mention that cornerback has been our Achilles Heel for the last few years. Hence the ever growing amount of teams you see using the Cover 2 defense.

Not to say we should jump on the bandwagon or anything. They just need to build the team around its strengths.

...Several months later... Jim Johnson is ancient so no one else wants to pay the money he gets paid in philly. Unfortunately he has cancer or something else. Hopefully his treatments go well and he is back for the season

I'm a huge Oklahoma Sooners football fan (The Buffalo Bills of college football)

I also enjoy rally and le mans type racing though all you hear about around here is boring ass NASCAR.
