Yeah, Turtles in Time rocked on SNES, but Batman & Robin had a better looking (Scaling, rotation, 3D polys., and mode 7esque sequences), playing (BAT CONTRA), and sounding (Cold, hard, pounding FM chip techno) version on the Genesis.Ack wrote:Ah man, Turtles in Time is awesome on the SNES. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is also the biggest in terms of the MK titles on the console, though if you dislike the series, I'd say sell both. If you do, keep it and sell MK3.
Now The Adventures of Batman and Robin is actually a decent game, though it didn't get fully developed, so Robin takes a backseat role. Still, it's one I'd like to check out, as the cartoon was a favorite of mine. As for Mutant Apocalypse, it was fun as far as I remember, though it's been a long time since I played it.
Either way, sweet deal chief.

This find was actually a few years ago. I got ab out 20 NES games for 10 cents apiece. Among the games: SMB 2 &3, Gemfire, and Panic Resteraunt. I didn't know the previous two games were worth more than a couple bucks until this morning (got an offer to trade me a Super C cart for Panic Resteraunt, so I looked at eBay and amazon prices-psh!)
Re: Thrift store finds! Heck ya!
A basically brand new, perfectly working ps2 (fat model) for $5 bucks. of course i didn't buy it right away since it had no box and i had no idea if it worked. so since i was at salvation army i found some TV's and plugged it in just to see if it booted. it did and to my surprise has a dynasty warrior 5 game in it. lol so the moment i realized it work i unhooked it and bought it. this is no joke although i still don't believe it myself. ^^ (btw they wanted a ps1 for 15 lol)

Re: Thrift store finds! Heck ya!
I'd be way more excited if my thrift stores would get Saturn stuff than the sports titles for the Xbox and PS2 that they get right now.

Bret Easton Ellis' "Glamorama" - 50cents
The following VHS tapes for only $2 each (except some bought during a BOGO free sale):
* Batman (better on VHS for some reason)
* Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
* The Hobbit
* Lord of Illusions
* Cat's Eye
* Batman Forever
* Terminator 2
* Species (didn't like it that much, so I sacrificed it to see if the living room VCR worked and it ate the tape)
* Independence Day
Back to the Future Complete Trilogy DVD (Fullscreen; Import from Canada) - $2
And they have a copy of No Place to Hide on Laserdisc for only a few bucks. How much is it worth on eBay? I asked on IMDb, but no response yet.

I love the 89' Batman movie. Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson both nailed the slightly gritty but always down to earth Batman style perfectly.
