Good to know about the step bit, Ill be grabbing one in the future. But for this project, there is not enough room except for maybe one button. And I would rather not make a permanent change on a cp that is difficult to find a replacement for.

New switches came in. I was told to order them from Mikes Arcade but I just ordered the same switch he sells from a parts seller. They ended up being about a dollar cheaper a piece.
Buttons come in tomorrow - but they are the Christmas gift... Still gotta rig up one more encoder.
Still to find, appropriate cheap speakers for that classic mono sound.
