Yes, yes...the bonus is I get to pawn them off on my firends. I already got $50 for some of it, making the Duo w/ ACD, tap and 5 pads = $150. I think I'll keep the Kabuki Fighter, that way I will have two Arcade CD-ROM games. Anyone want a Record of Lodoss War or JP SuperSystem Card?

I picked up a Kisado when it was being sold new for my TG-16, has treated my nicely all these years. I also got a PCE Pro 32m flash cart not too long ago. It works OK, you still cannont play US games on JP system with out mod'd sys, but it can be flashed to play Jap or US games on US system, mainly my Express. 32m isn't a lot...like 6-7 games.

(You still need a convertor)

All -> I just got a lead on a complete Core and Core 2 for $70. Deal or no deal? I do not have to pay shipping mind you.

Majors wrote:Well, I just picked up a Jap Duo. $200 and included:

-Duo (duh)
-Power, video cable
-turbo tap for 5 players, 3 avenue 6 button controllers, 1 Hori pad, 1 Avenue 3 Button Pad
-Arcade Card
-Browning (SCD)
-Metamore Jupitor (CD)
-Kabuki Fighter (ACD)
-Record Of Lotus War (CD)

Added bonus: Batle Ace (loose), Ghouls'n Ghost, Granzort, JP SuperSystem Card 3.0 and JP System Card 1.0.
Hey guys I need your advice. There's a guy on another forums that can sell me a Jap Duo for $200 shipped that includes the following

1.PC Engine Duo System
2. 2 official NEC controllers
3 Controller port expansion
4. Gradius (JP Hu-card)
5. It Came From the Desert(US CD title)
6. Super Raiden (JP CD title with spine card)
7. Street Fighter 2(JP Hu-card)
8. Prince Of Persia(US CD title)
9. R-Type Complete(JP cd title with spine card)
10. Beach Volley(Jp Hu-card, sleeve only)
11. Special( JP Hu-card) I know the bottom part says special but the top is Kanji. In the pictures it's the guy with standing on a cloud with a weird mask on.
12.Pakurigu(JP Hu-card, baseball game)
13.Neutopia(JP Hu-card)
14. Puroteniso(JP Hu-card, tennis game)
15. World Beach Volley(JP Hu-card)
16. Double Dungeon(JP Hu-card)
17. Mahjong Vol. 4( JP Hu-card)

It includes the box (worn down because the previous owner used it for shipping  ), but it does not include the ac adapter so I'm a little skeptical about this. I have a lot of consoles, so is there any other console that uses the same adapter? I don't wanna go adapter hunting now, never ever will I buy an incomplete console again. He doesn't want to go lower since I already tried to bargain with him. What do you think, is this a bargain or just regular going price? Btw I already have a TG16 w/CD so this is just for playing jpn hucards and cds with arcade card which I would have to spend more money on. This all seems a kinda expensive endevour.

I would go the convertor and a ACD card route. Unless you really wanted those games. For the power adaptor, you can get something from Radio Shack and do a little modding.

I really don't care about the bundled games and not in a hurry so maybe I'll wait some more to snatch a better deal for cheaper japanese hardware or a convertor. Thanks.
