How can I connect my xbox to a wireless router with an ethernet cable? I want to connect to xbox live but dont want to spend the money on the wireless router for xbox. My xbox is in the same room as my router. How do I connect it?

Would really like to rent the softmod kit, if it's still available. Just got a used xbox that said it was modded and found out to late it wasn't. Just tell me when to send the money through paypal. It's $8 right? Also what all is in the softmod kit?
