...November and December were both pretty quiet for finding additions for the library. Between MAGFest and some orders arriving I think that January made for a solid start to a new year. I didn't find too much older stuff unfortunately, but I'm cool w/more Ace Attorney and classics like Wings of Wor/Gynoug and Ghost Trick on modern platforms.

Recently bagged the physical release of the Switch 2 version of Yooka-Replaylee. As I've mentioned before, I will GLADLY buy a Switch 2 physical release of a game I want if it's not a game key card, even if the game is simply too small to warrant the 64GB of space the game cards offer. Hell, I'm even holding off on getting the Super Bomberman compilation just to get the game's physical release in August. ICYMI, the North American release is exclusive to VGP.

Preordered the Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil 7-9 and it should be charged to my account tomorrow, though I'll have to wait until next week to play it.

Oh, and I plopped down seven bucks to get the Android version of Balatro from the Play Store. I've been playing the PS5 version a lot lately and wanted it on my Retroid Pocket 5, but the Play Store says it's not compatible. Thankfully, it plays quite well on my phone, which thankfully is much more portable.

I bought Final Fight One for the Game Boy Advance. I already have the Mega CD version (Sega CD), but I quite like playing beat em ups on handhelds. They're fun pick up and play games.

Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon (Game Boy Advance)
The Punisher (Xbox)
Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude (Xbox)
Scrapland (Xbox)
Blur (Xbox 360)

Final Fantasy VII: Remake Intergrade (Switch 2)
Sensible Soccer 2006 (Xbox)
Dynamite Deka (Saturn)
X-Men vs Street Fighter (Saturn)
Daytona USA: Circuit Edition (Saturn)
Cyberbots (Saturn)
February 2026:
Layer Section (Saturn)
Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox)
Final Fight One (Game Boy Advance)
Own: Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PS Vita, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii U, Game Boy Advance, DS, 3DS, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox, Xbox 360

I completely forgot I bought some of the Yakuza games for the Switch 2! These games were made for playing on a handheld in my opinion. They're great for short bursts in the evenings. I am playing Kiwami 1 first and I am having a blast, which is great because I remember when it first came out I found it really boring after playing 0. That said, I own the original PS2 version so part of it is also just the deja vu aspect.

Edit: Oh and I forgot I got the Resident Evil Requiem Generations collection too

January 2026:

February update:
January:
Little Samson NES
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade PS5
Tetris Attack Game Boy
Donkey Kong Land Game Boy
Kid Dracula Game Boy
Journey to Silius NES
Yoshi's Cookie Game Boy
Pokemon X 3DS
Parachute Game & Watch Wide Screen
Dispatch Switch 2 eshop
Total: 10 games
February:
Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch Colour Screen
Chef Game & Watch Wide Screen
Blazing Dragons Saturn
Manhole Game & Watch New Wide Screen

Just a few games this month - still focusing on collecting Game & Watch units, picked up a few new ones, bringing my total to 7. Other than that, I picked up a cheap copy of Blazing Dragons for Saturn.
