I have picked out ten wildly different categories for March's vote. It's going to be a bloodbath.

10 is an awful lot to choose between. I cut my list of themes down from 8 to 4 because I figured that way the winning category would have a big chunk of the votes and more people would have voted for it.

If you have 10 options, 6 people could vote for something no-one else wants to play and make that win, whereas another option lots of people would have liked might not get through because it'd be the majority of people's third pick or something.

I cut out Sega arcade game console ports and Natsume titles, just off the top of my head.

I voted Wonder Boy and 3D Zelda.

Plenty of stuff I'm overdue to play in both categories.

My choices will all be games that came out 10 years ago to the month.

I'd like to play FF spinoffs, namely FFT, but my fat PS2 won't read PS1 games. Reads PS2 and audio CD's fine.

I went for FF spinoffs and Wonderboi. I love the Wonderboy series but haven't put much into Adventure Island and I have a bunch of FF related spin offs that could qualify.

Good selection though as was AJ's last month.

I'd use the FF month to play The Final Fantasy Legend, personally. I'm way overdue for a replay.

And I'm a huge backer of Mystic Quest. That game is great and deserves none of the hate it gets.

I voted Zelda clones because of the huge variety of game selection, plus I have a couple gsmes on the Saturn I want to beat of that style. I'M LOOKING AT YOU SHINING WISDOM!!!!

In the end I will be happy with whatever as I have a ton to choose from

I like choice. Choice is good.

That sounds like democratic voting to me. I don't see the problem there.

Maybe some of my ideas that don't get picked, will get chosen by others to use for their own TR months.

I'd be worried that you might be stealing thunder from future TR curators about their own selection of choices (or how they want to present them to voters) by spamming so many options in a poll. I like the precedent aj and noise have set of having four options in their poll.

What do other future TR poll creators think?
