Best Console Ports of Donkey Kong?

I'm pretty confident that the new Switch port is the best one now. It has three different versions of the arcade game: original, "later", and international. Original is the original Japanese release that apparently has some bugs. The "later" version is the bug fixed Japanese version. International is what we got in the states. However, the real winning feature is the ability to play it in TATE mode.

Ha! Yeah, that recent announcement kinda fixed this thread, but the discussion is still quite interesting (especially since I don't yet own a Switch)

I only just noticed this thread, and I was going to post just that.
Also, gotta plug Donkey Kong '94 again, if only for it being the only game that fully exploited the SGB's abilities - that title screen is amazing enough to have a long youtube video dissecting how it did that.

Edit: Oh, okay, that was mentioned. I guess I'm late to the party, I only realised it was on the Switch yesterday when I went to download the new Octopath Traveler demo and saw it on the eShop.
