Re: Your Unpopular TV/Film opinions.
I don't know how anyone has the attention span for things like movies and TV shows when there are SO many video games to play. Granted, y'all have the attention for things like social lives, spouses, and even children, so it would appear that my very selective focus is the unpopular one

I identify everyone via avatar, so if you change your avatar, I genuinely might completely forget who you are. -- Me

To everyone that said they don't like comic book or superhero movies, have you seen Logan? 2017 movie of the year, I'm calling it.

I like super hero films and TV shows. Not a comic book reader. That said Logan doesn't interest me in the least. I have felt all the X-men films have been awful. I never liked Jackman as Wolverine. He's too tall for wolverine. Wolverine is 5'3". It would be nice to see Hollywood recognize that and be cooler for shorter people like me to have someone to identify with.

I like you're thinking.
For me I'm too busy watching anime, kdrama, or movies instead of keeping up with whatever the masses are hooked into.

Nope! But I'm interested in this one since X-Men have had some good highs (and lows). It's really just the Marvel Movies flavor I'm sick of. I even liked Batman vs Superman, which I think really fits this thread since most hated it I think. Which is even more odd though since I hated Man of Steel. There's just no consistency between these movies for me haha.

Logan was solid. They didn't set out to make an X-Men movie or a super hero movie, they just made a good movie.

Thats almost exactly what I've told everyone that hasn't seen it. "It's not a great superhero movie, it's a great movie that has superheros in it."

Why why why is there another Transformers movie? The fourth one was so bad I cannot imagine there is any desire for another.

They make money and I don't know why. All of them are awful Everything Bay touches is awful. I won't accept his TMNT films and I have seen Next Mutation, TMNT 3 and the Coming out of Their Shells VHS. I would rather watch those again as painful as it would be than watch the filth that is Bays Turtles.

Eh, he's great at certain things. Regardless, the Transformers movies (and superhero movies, etc) are the kinds of things that can (and do!) sell worldwide, particularly in China...which is both a massive audience, and where a lot of funding for movies these days comes from.
