It's Nintendo, and I think that's all that needs to be said really with pre-orders.
They're the oldest company still in the racket, and they have 30+ years of history people eat up. Hacking news aside look what is there. It's a bucket of idiot proof memories you can use immediately and go to the next working just like the original without all the various layers of abuse from the blinking lights and dead batteries to the trolling overpriced old game market scalping now. You could get an original NES today for like $50 and the 30 games there I think add up around another $500-600...or you buy the console for $60. Sure it's closed, but be serious, how many people care about that? Most will see 30 games in a box that are Nintendo gems they knew or had and it's harassment (other than finding one) free. Those who are daring can make it a Top100 of pure awesomeness with like what an hours work?
