Let's take a moment to talk about the original Xbox.

I like it as much as the Gamecube, ie not much. Halo, Ninja Gaiden, MechAssault are a few random exclusives I have good memories of. But both libraries combined just don't even compare to the PS2 for me.

That said, the Xbox was the first system I bought myself growing up. Saved up a whole summer's worth of lawn mowing and allowances. So... I like to keep that beast around since it's special in that regard haha. Mainly did it for Halo and it was worth it. I think my console name was THE BEAR haha.

Come to think of it I think this was when my dad was still super religious and kind of against the whole M rating thing (but my mom let me buy those as I already owned Metal Gear Solid and such haha). But I think my dad basically agreed that if I could buy an Xbox and Halo myself, I could have it. And so that I did.

Has Anyone played Metal Wolf Chaos? It's quite possibly the rarest and most valuable game on the system aside from steel battalion. Prices on ebay right now.....yikes.

Although it is a Japan only title it apparently has all english voiceovers and it's made by From Software, the makers of Dark Souls. Might be a great game if you could somehow find it for a decent price.

Metal Wolf Chaos is a great B Movie concept as a game. Its fun, its fast, its pretty, and it reminds me alot of Bulk Smash on the Saturn.

I think the rarest two games on the console are Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and The Guy Game. Mainly since The Guy Game is technically child porn - one of the girls sued the company after it released saying she was 17 at the time.

I actually found a complete copy of this game a few days ago for $8. As much as I love horrible games, however, I passed on it because...yuck.

It was the first game I played on it too. Never did beat it though 'cause that game gets wacky hard. Someday I might give it another crack though.

There is a single level demo of Metal Wolf that plays on an unmodded Xbox in an Xbox Magazine disc. The same disc that also has a Conker playable level. I have been finding a few unreleased games with playable demos as well as download DLC right on the magazine discs!

So I just got an original Xbox for 2.00. Console only but found av cords and a power cord. Also got a controller bit damn controller dont work so just got another one. Everything was 22.00 or so. Not bad. Hopefully the first controller is a bad controller and the other one works and its not the controller port on the Xbox.
