Sports games that are still interesting to play today?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Before I forget, Fred Couples Golf on the Game Gear is another nice pick up and play golf game.

And Neo Turf Masters. If you want a game that plays nearly like it, check out Irem Skins Game on the SNES -- developed by those ex-Irem employees who would go on to form Nazca Corp. and Neo Turf Masters.

I think a golf thread would do good. I'd participate highly in it

I saw a mention of Dusty Diamond's All Star Softball on the NES! Too bad that game is pricey these days :(

Oh, yeah, can't believe I forgot about NBA Street, in particular vol. 2. Loved that game. I pretty much always picked the Spurs, because I'm such a huge homer for them. They may not be balanced, but a team of Tim Duncan and David Robinson is pretty darn awesome, and throw Steve Smith in for some shooting.

Although not the most realistic sports game by any means, NFL blitz 2000 is a ton of fun, also NBA showtime on the Dreamcast is a heck of a game too

I could talk golf (games) all day.

NES Open Tournament Golf on the NES, another good one, but it uses the old school NES golf meter and the results can be all over the place.

I'm trying to like Outlaw Golf (Gamecube), but I hate hate HATE analog swings.

Anyone remember Fuji Golf on Windows 3.1?
