Been giving the helicopter some more love (because someone should)... Still can't clear area 3 on 1 life, but came close on this run. ("Just a couple more shots!"...doh!) Then area 4 kicked my ass...as usual. Even missed that special 1up there. So this could've been better. (Didn't even make it to the boss.)
