Win 8 no start button, screwy app area

Nobody has attacked anyone. I'm just a straight talking no nonsense kind of guy and I swear a lot. This topic pissed me off 3 years ago when Win 8 preview dropped and despite a lot of fixes that are available to anyone within 3 clicks of a mouse or a cursory google search, here it is a new generation of idiots that can't be bothered to take 5 minutes to taylor their OS to their liking, instead expecting Microsoft to bend over backwards making an everyman Operating System that pleases a minority of pedantic borderline-aspergic users who are kicking up a huge stink over a minor change. The rest of the operating system is a huge improvement over Windows 7. I can't stop you using Windows 7 if that floats your boat, it's one of the most successful OS of all time go ahead. You can't turn around and use one thing you don't like as justification of it not being better than Win 7. It's hands down a better OS, to not see that is just ignorant.

Also, you open a discussion about a decisive topic and when people point out fixes or counterpoint you just close your eyes put your hands over your ears and hum until the bad-thing goes away. This is why people are annoyed with you Tanooki, it's because you won't listen to anybody else's opinion. You go on about 'stating an opinion' and getting shit for it. It's not that spewing of said opinion is irksome it's your steadfast bullishness against seeing another point of view. I'm done here.
